Root Beer or Not?
We looked at Seth Chandler's yellow gold "Mocha GMT" recently and Seth pointed out to me that his watch was almost identical to "The Easy Rider GMT" except for the fact his has crown guards. You can see the yellow gold GMT that Peter Fonda wore in Easy Rider by clicking here.
This watch is almost identical except it has different hands, including the a different 24 hour hand, and like The Easy Rider GMT it lacks a crown guard. Also the hour hand on this watch lacks the Mercedes-like symbol and the second hand is lacking lume. Also it has the divided night and day bezel. So it this a Root Beer? I don't think so because as somebody pointed out The Root Beer has a glossy dial that looks like Root Beer, and this watch has a matte dial.
I like it better with the solid brown bezel like Seth's or The Easy Rider GMT.
