Rolex of the Day: The Classic Rolex Submariner.

This first photo is a picture of an early 1970s Stainless Steel Submariner with a beautiful domed crystal.

This next image is of a current LV 50th Anniversary Rolex Submariner, with the green dial next to a vintage 1970s–Roger Moore as Bond–Submariner.  It is uncanny how similar the indices look on both watches.  This is of significance because on the models in between Rolex these two, Rolex went to smaller indices (indices are also known as 5 Minute Markers.)  The Significance of larger indices is that the larger they are the easier they are to read.

Emerson once wrote, "We must not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive at the place where we began, and recognize if for the first time." Talk about Timeless Design!!!  I hope you are enjoying my Rolex Blog.
